Best-Selling Book On Amazon? The U.S. Constitution
Khizr Khan's emotional speech at the Democratic National Convention apparently has spurred sales of one of the country's founding documents.
During one of the most emotional speeches at the Democratic National Convention, Khizr Khan — an American Muslim whose son was killed in action in Iraq — pulled a copy of the U.S. Constitution out of his jacket pocket and showed it to the world.
“Let me ask you," he said to Donald Trump. "Have you even read the United States Constitution?”
Whether Trump has or did since the speech, plenty of Americans are apparently brushing up on their Constitution knowledge.

The document from which all American law flows was at No. 10 on the list as of Friday at 9:45 p.m. Eastern time. It checked in just behind "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them: The Original Screenplay" from the Harry Potter series. The top-selling book was "Harry Potter and the Cursed Child - Parts One & Two."

Khan's speech has become a central point of political conversation following the convention.
In an interview with George Stephanopoulos on ABC News, scheduled to air Sunday, Trump seemed to hit back at the family, according to transcripts of the conversation.
“If you look at his wife, she was standing there, she had nothing to say," Trump said, referring to Khan's wife, Ghazala, who stood at Khizr Khan's side during his speech. "She probably — maybe she wasn’t allowed to have anything to say, you tell me.”
Asked by Stephanopoulos what he would say to the grieving family, Trump responded, “I’d say, ‘We’ve had a lot of problems with radical Islamic terrorism.’”
The comments were widely criticized on both sides of the political spectrum as insensitive to a family who has paid the ultimate sacrifice. Humayun Khan, 27, was a U.S. Army captain who ordered his men to take cover on June 8, 2004, as a taxi came onto his base in Iraq. As Khan approached, the taxi exploded. The young man aspired to be a military lawyer.
The last time Humayun Khan spoke to his mom was on Mother's Day.
Speaking with The New York Times, Khizr Khan said his wife did not speak at the convention because it is still too painful to her to talk of her son's death. She did help him write the speech and made Khizr Khan omit some attacks on Trump.
“I also wanted to talk about how he’s had three wives, and yet he talks about others’ ethics and their religion,” Khan told the Times. “I wanted to say 10 other things about him, and she said, ‘Don’t go to his level. We are paying tribute to our son.’”
