Best Tweets About Ted Cruz VP Choice, Carly Fiorina

When word leaked out about Ted Cruz's vice presidential pick, the political world responded with serious analysis. Just kidding.

You may have heard: Sen. Ted Cruz attempted to save his near-dead campaign Tuesday by announcing a popular vice-presidential candidate to run with him as the Republican candidate for president.

Two problems: His choice isn't popular and he's not his party's choice for president.

Mere details, failing America!

Carly Fiorina, who was forced to resign as Hewlett-Packard CEO because the company's stock had dropped 50 percent under her reign, didn't exactly inspire confidence in the political world, either. She dropped out with her popularity roughly the same as that of athlete's foot even after donors handed over $26M to help her campaign.

For that $26M, she amassed a total delegate count of ... one.

With the announcement, though, what could have been a slow day in politics turned into a Twitter Laugh Party.

Here were the best reactions to the unlikely partnership.
