Coyote Breaks Into Myrtle Beach Airport: Police
Let's hope it wasn't carrying more than two ounces of liquids.

A coyote, apparently just trying to get home for the holidays, was on the loose Tuesday morning at Myrtle Beach International Airport before it was captured by animal control, an airport spokesman told Patch.
The coyote was first seen at the airport around 10 a.m. at the airport’s TSA screening checkpoint., Assistant Director of Airports Kirk Lovell told Patch.
The airport called Horry County Police and animal control to the scene.
The area of the airport was temporarily blocked off while the coyote was being captured, the Sun News reported.
Animal control eventually caught the coyote, police said, before it could bite or harm anyone. The Sun News reported that the coyote was put down after it was captured.
No flights were delayed or canceled, Lovell said.
Several questions, though, still remain unanswered:
- Did the coyote have to take its shoes off before going through security?
- Was the coyote “randomly” selected for extra TSA screening?
- Why was it just wandering around? Was its flight delayed?
- Was the coyote at least reimbursed for the cost of its presumably missed flight?
