Donald Trump Announces First Stop On Victory Rally Tour

Trump's first stop will be in one of the swing states that helped win him the White House.

President-elect Donald Trump has less than two months to assemble an administration before Inauguration Day. Between now and then, though, Trump will hold a series of "victory rallies" so he can stand once again before the raucous and adoring crowds that showed up for him during the election season.

Now, we know where the first one will be.

Trump's director of social media, Dan Scavino Jr., tweeted Tuesday that his first stop will be in Cincinnati, Ohio, a visit to one of the swing states that ultimately won him the presidency.

The rally is scheduled to take place Thursday evening at 7 p.m. Eastern time at U.S. Bank Arena in downtown Cincinnati. The arena is home to the AHL's Cincinnati Cyclones and has hosted concerts and other sporting events. It has a capacity of more than 17,000 people for concerts.

If you want to attend in person, Trump has a sign-up form available on his campaign website. People can only register for two spots at a time, though the event does appear to be free.

If you can't make it out in person, the event is likely to be streamed across the internet and carried live on cable news.

It's unclear exactly what the president-elect will speak about. He had made few public appearances since his Election Day victory and hasn't held a press conference since July.

Trump and his team haven't announced locations for his other rallies. Earlier this month, Trump's advance team director made it seem like there would be a lot.

“We’re working on a victory tour now," George Gigicos said. "It will happen in the next couple of weeks." The rallies will bring Trump "obviously to the states that we won and the swing states we flipped over," Gigicos said.

Trump's total of states won climbed to 31 following Michigan's results certification.
