Donald Trump Wants To Punch Someone In The Face

It's not the first time Donald Trump has encouraged violence at his rallies.

Republican presidential frontrunner Donald Trump said Monday that he longs for the “old days” when you could punch people in the face without repercussion.

Trump’s brash, exuberant messages have resonated with a significant faction of voters, who have given him primary victories in New Hampshire and South Carolina and appear poised to do so again Tuesday night in the GOP Nevada Caucuses, where he is a heavy favorite.

After yet another protester interrupted one of his rallies Monday night in Nevada, Trump yearned for a time when battery was an acceptable response to a difference of opinion.

“I love the old days, you know?” he said. “You know what I hate? There’s a guy totally disruptive, throwing punches. We’re not allowed to punch back anymore. I love the old days. You know what they used to do to guys like that when they were in a place like this? They’d be carried out on a stretcher, folks.”

His supporters directly behind him on camera laughed and cheered, and at least two of them made punching gestures in the air.

It was not immediately clear who the protester was or what he was doing, but Trump added that, ”I love our police, and I really respect our police. I hate to see that.”

Trump continues: “The guards are very gentle with him. He’s walking out like big high fives, he’s smiling, laughing. I’d like to punch him in the face.”

It’s not the first time Trump has condoned violence against people at his rallies.

He told a crowd in November that a Black Lives Matter protester, “maybe he should have been roughed up.“ After having tomatoes thrown at him in Iowa, Trump said that he would pay the legal fees for anyone who “knocks the crap out of“ tomato-wielders.
