The Washington Post obtained audio of an interview between a People Magazine reporter and John Miller, a Trump "spokesman."

In 1991, a man calling himself a spokesman for Donald Trump told a People Magazine reporter that women were practically begging to sleep with the Manhattan billionaire, that Trump pays his now-ex-wife a lot of money and that Trump was doing better than ever financially following his divorce.
There was just one problem — John Miller, the spokesman, sounded and spoke exactly like Trump himself.

After the People story ran, Trump admitted to Sue Carswell, the reporter, that John Miller's phone call was a "joke gone awry," Carswell told the Washington Post.
The Post published the claims — and a full audio recording of the conversation between Carswell and "Miller — in an article Friday under the headline "Donald Trump masqueraded as publicist to brag about himself."

Despite the apparent admission, in an appearance on "Today" Friday morning, Trump denied that it was him on the other end of the phone call with her.
"I don’t know anything about it," Trump said. "You’re telling me about it for the first time and it doesn’t sound like my voice at all."
At all?
