She may even lose a few fingers.
A tiger at the Omaha Zoo bit a drunk trespasser on Halloween night when the woman reached her hand into its cage to pet it, police said.
The woman was cited for criminal trespass and is recovering in the hospital after suffering “severe trauma to her hand,” according to Omaha Police.

Jacqueline Eide and a friend entered the zoo after hours, passing through a fence and security, when Eide put her hand into the cage of Mai, an 18-year-old Malayan tiger, the zoo said in a statement.
Mai apparently did not take kindly to the gesture and bit her.

Eide was taken to Creighton University Medical Center where she “was aggressive toward staff and showed signs of intoxication of alcohol and/or drugs,” police said.
The bite on her left hand is so bad she may lose a few fingers, KETV reported.
Eide went to prison for her third DUI in 2011, KETV said, and had already been arrested twice this year.
KETV said the tiger in question won’t be quarantined.
