A father's love makes us feel safe, secure and loved in a way that leaves little to be said. This father's day, Patch asked for your father-child lookalike photos and along with your photos, you also shared with us what makes you relationship with dad so special.
"Not only is he an amazing dad off the field at home, he has also mentored a group of young athletes over the last eight years through football," wrote Amy Darling, of Santee, California. "His time and dedication to these young men over the years has formed a bond that will last forever. He is their coach for a season but a friend for life!"
Denise Vold, of Palos Heights, Illinois wrote that her husband is a "rough around the edges and a 'behind the scenes' kind of guy" but he would do anything for his children.

"My son, my buddy and my best friend," Lizza said. "Tony is always making us laugh and is the most thoughtful young man. Tony and I enjoy watching sports (especially soccer) and playing games against each other on Xbox."

Chloe and Veen Huffnagle shared this message with dad, "Happy Father's Day to an amazing daddy! Thank you for everything you do."

Peyton Story and his daughter, A.J., of Freehold, New Jersey.
Jamie Story shared this sweet comment with the photo, "When Daddy is your hero, you make sure to hold his hand when he needs it most."

East Windsor, New Jersey residents Aksuly and Mackenzie, shared this message with their dad:
"We may be daddy's LITTLE girls, but we are also his BIGGEST fan," they wrote. "We love you Daddy!"

"It is certainly a bittersweet photo, but I love that both are smiling and trying to make this work despite the situation," Amy Shaw wrote in an email. "I also had a wonderful evening with them in the hospital during which the two animatedly discussed Shakespeare and Jack helped Aidan memorize lines for his high school Shakespeare class."

Jessica Buckles, of San Ramon, California, shared this photo of her husband and kids.
"We spent a few hours there and Daddy was all in with exploring and helping the kids find animals and figure out the names of what we were looking at," wrote Buckles. "He loves to watch our children grow and learn and I love him for that. Happy Father's Day to our amazing Dada!"

Nashua, New Hampshire resident Craig Loring at the ballgame with one of his children, Luke.
"My husband is an amazing, devoted father," wrote Kelsey Loring. "He works incredibly hard to give our children the life they have."

Brian Norton and his son, Ian, of Concord, New Hampshire.
"Brian has shown me what a real father can be," wrote Amy Federico-Norton. "He is the most loving, supportive, amazing man to his children and I am so grateful to have him in our lives."

Vicki Kauffman says her husband and son are "literally the best of friends."

Daniel Ray and his daughter, Angela, of Mokena, Illinois.
Here's what Angela had to say about her dad:
"This is me, Angela Ray, and my dad, Daniel Ray. He lives in Mokena and I live in Rockford and Chicago. He has been really supportive during my first year of medical school. He listened to many tearful phone calls and consistently reminds me how unproductive and unfounded most of my worries are. Usually, he's right :) Thanks Dad! I Love you!"

Here's what Carol said about her dad:
This is a picture of my Dad and I taken June, 2010 at the celebration of my husband and my 50th wedding anniversary. My Dad was a very special man and I do miss him. He was a real encourager, very patient, and always wanted the best for his family. I am very blessed to have had him as my Dad. Love you, Dad.
