Fights In AT&T Stadium Parking Lot After Cowboys Game Leave Man Shot In Neck
The victim suffered "serious injuries."
A man was shot in the neck in the AT&T Stadium parking lot Sunday when fights broke out after the Cowboys game, police said.
The 43-year-old was transported to the hospital with “serious injuries,” according to a press release from the Arlington Police Department.
The shooting was a result of two fights that police said broke out after the Cowboys’ 30-6 loss to the Patriots.

In the first fight, the shooter walked up to a 27-year-old man and pointed a gun at him, police said, but the man walked away.
The 43-year-old victim tried to break up a second fight when he was knocked to the ground, police said. The suspect pointed the gun at him while he was trying to get up, police said, and shot him in the neck.

The suspected shooter, identified by police as 28-year-old Marvin Rodriguez of Dallas, “attempted to flee by getting into a vehicle but was arrested by officers,” according to the release.
