A criminal complaint filed Thursday in Albany levied the misdemeanor sex crime charge against Cuomo, The Associated Press reported. Details about the complaint were scant and confused Thursday — the Times Union reported the summons was filed erroneously and prematurely as local sheriff's investigators continue a probe into Cuomo.

But the complaint as filed indicates the probe is centered on a Dec. 7, 2020, incident in the governor's Executive Mansion in Albany. A woman, whose name is redacted, accused Cuomo of putting his hand under her shirt. » Forcible Touching Charge Filed Against Former Gov. Andrew Cuomo, via New York City Patch

Dispatch From The Unfriendly Skies

In the decreasingly friendly skies, an American Airlines plane made an unscheduled landing in Denver after a passenger punched a flight attendant twice in the face, the FBI said. The flight attendant was treated at a Denver hospital for broken facial bones.

Drawing a harsh line as midair brawls become increasingly common, American Airlines said it is putting the passenger who struck the flight attendant on its no-fly list, but said, “we will not be satisfied until he is prosecuted to the full extent of the law.” » Plane Diverted After Passenger Punches Flight Attendant: FBI, via Denver Patch
