Instant Pot Model Sold At Walmart Recalled For Fire Hazard
The company that makes the Instant Pot says it has received 107 reports of the product overheating.

One model of the Instant Pot sold exclusively at Walmart is being recalled because it poses a fire hazard.
The Consumer Product Safety Commission said the Gem 65 8-in-1 multicookers can overheat and melt on the underside. The products being recalled have a batchcode of 1728, 1730, 1731, 1734 or 1746 that is printed on the rating label on the bottom of the cookers.
The CPSC says consumers should immediately stop using the products and take them to Walmart to receive a free replacement.
