Kentucky Man Dies From Snakebite In Pentecostal Church

He refused medical treatment.

A man in Kentucky died after being bit by a snake at a pentecostal church church service, according to a Facebook post from the Bell County Sheriff’s Office.

The sheriff’s office said that John D. Brock, 60, was bitten on the left arm at a church service on Sunday morning. Brock refused medical treatment at the time of the bite. He went to his brother’s house and later died from the bite.

Brock was attending a service at Mossy Simpson Pentecostal Church in Jenson, Kentucky, when he was bitten, according to the sheriff’s office.

A google search for the church only turns up reports of Brock’s death, and no social media pages appear to exist for the church.

According to WKYT, local deputies are opening up a death investigation.
