Latest Marblehead police log: a misbehaving student removed from school, a smoking car, and reports of a woman flagging down vehicles.

MARBLEHEAD, MA — The following are excerpts from the Marblehead police log. Suspects are innocent unless convicted.

Fri., April 15

  • 8:14 a.m. A woman called to report that her daughter lost a small stuffed animal.
  • 10:48 a.m. Officers were called by school officials to help escort a misbehaving student. Once on scene, the officer requested an ambulance, and the students was safely transported to Children's Hospital.
  • 2:29 p.m. A fence was reported damaged on West Shore Drive.
  • 4:36 p.m. Caller reported that his car had been keyed.
  • 7:09 p.m. Fire department was sent to a disabled car with a smoking engine on Atlantic Avenue and Ocean Avenue.

Sat., April 16

  • 10:20 a.m. A caller reported that an unknown man made contact with her daughter online.
  • 1:40 p.m. A man reported that his car was hit while parked by an unknown vehicle.
  • 2:00 p.m. An individual reported that her father fell victim to a scam.
  • 2:44 p.m. FedEx driver reported that his truck was struck by another vehicle.
  • 5:24 p.m. A caller asked that her son and his girlfriend be directed to leave her residence. Police advised the pair to leave and they complied.
  • 5:57 p.m. A woman's vehicle was struck while parked at the Casa Mia Restaurant. The drivers involved exchanged information, but the woman reported that the other driver may have been intoxicated.

Sun., April 17

  • 12:52 a.m. Police tried to track down woman reported to be flagging down vehicles, but the woman was not located.
