Nestlé Recalls Toll House Stuffed Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough

ACROSS AMERICA — The Nestlé company is voluntarily recalling its ready-to-bake Toll House Stuffed Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough with Fudge Filling because it may contain pieces of white plastic.

Nestlé said the recall is isolated to that specific type of cookie dough produced between June and September 2022 of this year. The company emphasized no other Toll House Stuffed Cookie Dough or Toll House rerfrigerated cookie dough products are affected.

The recalled cookie dough was distributed nationwide and in Puerto Rico.

No illnesses or injuries have been reported, according to the announcement on the U.S. Food and Drug Administration website. “We immediately took action out of an abundance of caution after a small number of consumers contacted Nestlé USA about this issue,” the company said.

Anyone who has the cookie dough should return it to the retailer where it was purchased and request a replacement or refund. Additional support is available by calling the company at 800-681-1676 from 9 a.m.-6 p.m. EDT, Monday-Friday.
