Ford Recalls 230K Vehicles To Correct Fire Hazard

Ford Motor Co. is recalling around 230,000 SUVs, sedans and vans due to under-the-hood fire hazards. Engines in these vehicles can overheat when their coolants don’t circulate properly, resulting in a crack in the cylinder head that allows oil to leak onto hot engine surfaces. The recall was one of three announced by the company Wednesday. (Patch)

Amazon Wants To Change How We Buy Groceries

Amazon is currently running tests of on-the-go, personalized grocery order pick-up locations. The AmazonFresh Pickup sites opened this week in Seattle's Ballard and Sodo neighborhoods, but they aren't available to the public yet. So far, only Amazon employees will be able to test out the sites. With any luck, Jeff Bezos will have flying drones dropping off produce at our front step in no time. (Patch)
