President Trump Names New National Security Adviser

Trump, in an announcement at his Mar-a-Lago resort in Palm Beach, Florida, named Lt. Gen. H.R. McMaster the new security chief. He replaces Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn, who withheld information from Vice President Mike Pence about his communications with the Russian ambassador during the presidential transition. McMaster is known as a respected military strategist. (Patch)

Milo Yiannopoulos Disinvited From CPAC; Book Deal Canceled

The controversial conservative speaker was yanked from the speaking lineup at the prominent conservative conference and had his book deal cancelled after a tape emerged of him seeming to condone sex between young boys and grown men. The website Breitbart, formerly run by Trump adviser Steve Bannon, is also reportedly considering ousting Yiannopoulos as an editor. (The Washington Post)

Delete Uber Movement Revived After Former Employee Details Sexual Harassment Claims

A former SRE engineer, in a blog posted widely over the internet this weekend, told of an HR department lethargic to respond to sexual harassment claims. "There can be absolutely no place for this kind of behavior at Uber," Uber CEO Travis Kalanick said in response. The company hired former U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder to investigate the claims.
