Reported Tiger In Rowlett, Texas, Was Just A Bobcat: Reports

A bobcat was on the loose in Rowlett, Texas, according to multiple reports, but residents initially thought it was much worse.

Officials initially responded to a report of a tiger in a resident’s backyard, according to police scanner chatter. That, naturally, set off a Twitter firestorm of concerned residents.

But it turned out the animal was just a bobcat, WFAA reported.
