Guns Drawn, Cops Go To Wrong School
Police in Richfield, Minnesota, showed up at a middle school in bulletproof vests and their weapons drawn Tuesday after getting reports that a student had been shot, but it was the wrong school.

The shooting, in which one student was killed and another was wounded, occurred at South Education Center, a school that serves students with unique needs. Jahmari Rice, the 15-year-old sophomore who was killed, had only been enrolled in the school for two days.
Richfield Middle School Principal Erica Barlow said in a statement to parents and community members that it’s unlikely students saw the show of police force.

“The officers had weapons drawn and in bullet-proof vests," Barlow said. "It is unlikely that many students witnessed the event, as they were in class at the time. However, it is important that you are aware of the incident in the event that your child hears about it, as some children may be deeply impacted by this type of news."
The officers were “quickly corrected” and were dispatched to the South Education Center, Richfield Police Chief Jay Henthorne said. » Guns Drawn, Cops Went To Wrong Richfield School After Shooting, via Richfield, Minnesota, Patch

Zucker said revelations from an internal probe into Cuomo's brother and former CNN host Chris Cuomo led to his decision.
"As part of the investigation into Chris Cuomo's tenure at CNN, I was asked about a consensual relationship with my closest colleague, someone I have worked with for more than 20 years," Zucker said in a statement. “I acknowledged the relationship evolved in recent years.
