Riverside Shooting: 1 Injured At White Park, Sent To Hospital: Police [UPDATES]
Police were searching for what they believe to be a single suspect.

RIVERSIDE, CA — A shooting at White Park in Riverside sent one person to the hospital Monday morning, and police have not yet arrested a suspect, according to Riverside police spokesman Ryan Railsback.
The victim’s condition was unknown, Railsback told Patch, and it was not immediately clear how many shots were fired.
“It sounds like maybe only one suspect,” Railsback told Patch. ”There were reports of a multiple suspect-type thing, it doesn’t sound like that. It sounds like one suspect.”
The Riverside Police Department said in a Facebook post that there was no current threat in the area.
“There is no active shooting or lockdown in the area,” the post said. “The investigation is ongoing and more information will be forthcoming as the investigation evolves.”
Officers responded to reports of a shooting in the 3900 block of Chestnut Street, police said. Several people were detained as the scene devolved into chaos, The Press-Enterprise reported.
