Report of Shots Fired at Northlake Mall, Police Say
Shoppers in the North Carolina mall said they were told to evacuate or were locked up in stores after reports of a shooter.

Charlotte, North Carolina - There were shots fired outside the Northlake Mall, just outside Charlotte, North Carolina, on the afternoon of Labor Day Monday, Charlotte police said. However, nobody has been shot and police are still searching for the shooter.
Medics that have been called are clearing the scene and the mall is reopened.
Just 30 minutes earlier on Labor Day, shoppers in the mall were reporting they had been told to evacuate the mall or were locked up in stores inside it after reports of a possible shooting. A Charlotte, North Carolina TV news station reported that Medic was called after a report of shots fired. The Northlake Mall is about eight miles north of Charlotte, North Carolina.
