Soldier Found Dead In Vehicle At Fort Hood

An investigation into exactly what happened is underway.

A soldier was found dead in a vehicle Monday at Fort Hood, according to a statement from the military base‘s public affairs office.

The U.S. Army Criminal Investigation Command is investigating the incident, the statement said.

“I can tell you that at this point in the investigation we don’t have any evidence of foul play, but have not completely ruled it out in order to conduct a complete and thorough death investigation,” Chris Grey, the spokesman for the Army Criminal Investigation Command, said in the statement. “No other information on the investigation is available at this time.”
