The former Secretary of State led Sanders by 26 points in an NBC and Wall Street Journal poll conducted two weeks ago.

Clinton defeated Barack Obama in the 2008 Tennessee Democratic primary.

Following voting in three states this year, Clinton led Sanders in pledged delegates, 52 to 51. But Clinton holds a commanding lead over the Vermont Sen. in the race for the nomination overall with the support of 445 superdelegates compared to just 18 superdelegates for Sanders.
