Thanksgiving 2023 Grocery Store Hours: What’s Open, What’s Closed?

Costco, Kroger, Publix, Target, Walmart and Walgreens are among more than 30 regional and national chains announcing Thanksgiving hours.

ACROSS AMERICA — Even veteran Thanksgiving cooks can run short of butter or some other essential ingredient, but several grocery stores around the country will be open to save the feast.

Many others will close, however, including Walmart and Target, both of which readjusted their holiday hours in 2021 to give employees a day off to spend with their families.

As always, it’s a good idea to call ahead to make sure they’re open. Stores on this list either confirmed their hours with Patch by email or listed them on their websites.
