Alabama Hostage Situation: Armed Man Taken Into Custody At Tuscaloosa Credit Union
The man entered the Alabama Credit Union and took employees hostage before it opened.
Police in Tuscaloosa, Alabama have arrested an armed man who took employees hostage at the Alabama Credit Union before 9 a.m. There are no reports of injuries, and all hostages have been released.
Despite initial reports from the police, it appears the situation did begin as a robbery.
Reports indicated that there were seven or eight hostages in the credit union.

The University of Alabama Law School was ordered to shelter in place, and nearby businesses were evacuated during the hostage situation.
