Tyson Frozen Chicken Strips Recalled For Possible Contamination
More than 11 million pounds of Tyson chicken strip products are a part of the recall.
Tyson Foods has recalled over 11 million pounds of frozen, ready-to-eat chicken strips because they may be contaminated with metal, according to the United States Department of Agriculture.
The products were shipped to retail and Department of Defense locations nationwide and to the U.S. Virgin Islands.
According to the USDA's food safety inspection service, the products were produced on various dates from Oct. 1, 2018 through March 8, 2019 and have “use by dates” of Oct. 1, 2019 through March 7, 2020. The recalled products have the establishment number “P-7221” on the back of the packages.

The FSIS said there have been at least six complaints and at least three people have said they suffered oral injuries.

Consumers who have the products should throw them away or return them.
