WATCH: Alabama Official Attacks TV Reporter, Draws Blood

An Alabama district commissioner hit a TV reporter in the face and drew blood after the reporter confronted him in the parking lot following a public meeting.
WTVY’s Ken Curtis asked Dothan District 2 Commissioner Amos Newsome about voter fraud allegations from a 2013 election, the Dothan Eagle reported.
Video released by WTVY’s shows Newsome striking Curtis in the face. The Dothan Eagle took a photo of Curtis following the incident, and he appears to be bleeding from a small cut on his face.

Curtis and WTVY plan to press charges, according to the Dothan Eagle.
