Watch: Live Stream Of Donald Trump Rally In Erie, Pennsylvania

Trump's event in the crucial swing state is scheduled for 2 p.m. Eastern time.

Donald Trump apparently isn't ready to give up on Pennsylvania just yet. Trailing by double digits in some state polls, Trump will hold a rally in Erie on Friday as he looks to make up ground in the key general election state.

Trump will be having a rally at 2 p.m. Eastern at the Erie Insurance Arena, at the end of a week when he repeatedly called President Obama and his Democratic rival Hillary Clinton the "founders of ISIS" and seemed to encourage gun owners to take matters into their own hands should Clinton be elected president.

Trump's comments drew widespread criticism on both sides of the political spectrum, and Friday morning he tweeted that he was just being sarcastic. What will he say — jokingly or seriously — in his next public appearance?

After he is done in Erie, Trump will head to Altoona for his second stop of the day in a state where he is getting pummeled in the polls.

Clinton holds a 9.2-point lead over Trump, according to a RealClearPolitics average of major state polls. In the four most recent state polls, two have Clinton up by 10 and two have her up by 11.

Pennsylvania is considered a must-win state for the Republican nominee if he wants to have any chance at winning the general election.
