Watch: Live Stream Of Donald Trump At Rally In Fayetteville, North Carolina

Trump is scheduled to speak at 6 p.m. Eastern time.

Donald Trump is scheduled to make his second campaign stop of the day Tuesday at a rally in Fayetteville, North Carolina, the day after he made a speech on the economy in Detroit considered one of his most detailed policy speeches yet.

The Detroit address was notable for its lack of the characteristic off-the-cuff style Trump has become known for at his rallies. As Trump's free-fall in state and national polling continues, he reverted back Tuesday to the fiery style that defined his primary campaign. He started his day with a 2 p.m. rally at the Trask Coliseum at the University of North Carolina, Wilmington.

Trump's Fayetteville rally at Crown Arena is scheduled to begin at 6 p.m. Eastern time. You can watch a livestream of his remarks as soon as the event begins below:

Trump may have a shot to win the critical swing state and increase his chances in the general election. In the latest poll conducted in North Carolina, taken by Public Policy Polling, Hillary Clinton held just a 2 percent lead over Trump, well within the survey's 3.4 percent margin of error. That poll surveyed 830 likely voters from Aug. 5 to 7.

Nationally, Trump trailed Clinton by 7.5 points entering Tuesday, according to a RealClearPolitics average of major national polls. The analytics website FiveThirtyEight gives Clinton an 87.5 percent chance of winning the general election.

Trump is also trailing Clinton in several key swing states such as Florida, Pennsylvania, Michigan and New Hampshire. A Clinton victory in any of those states would mean almost certain defeat for Trump, experts say.
