Heading into Monday, Trump had a narrow 1.2-point lead over Clinton in a two-way race, according to the RealClearPolitics average of major state polls.

Nate Silver, the election data scientist who runs the popular FiveThirtyEight forecasting website, though, gave Clinton the slightest of edges to win the state in his forecast Monday morning.
