WATCH: Toddler Saves Twin Trapped Under Toppled Dresser

Kayli Shoff posted the video of the rescue to YouTube.

A Utah family posted an incredible video of one of their 2-year-old twin boys rescuing the other who had been trapped under a dresser that fell over while they were playing.

Kayli Shoff checked the surveillance camera in the twins' room when she woke up Friday morning and saw their dresser toppled over on the floor, her husband told CNN. It wasn't until they rewound the tape, though, that they saw what really happened.

The full video showed the two kids playing on the dresser when it fell over and pinned Brock Shoff underneath. His brother, Bowdy, tried for nearly two minutes to help him out before Bowdy was able to lift the dresser just enough for Brock to escape.

The accident happened on Friday, the family told CNN. The family, who lives in Orem, Utah, added that "there wasn't a scratch" on either of the kids when they checked on them that morning after seeing the toppled dresser.

"It's kind of a miracle, it's something really special, to see how Bowdy helped Brock," Ricky Shoff told CNN.

In a Facebook post on Sunday, Shoff — who works for a company that sells home security cameras — said his family was "a little hesitant to post" the video but said he wanted to bring awareness to the importance of bolting children's dressers and other furniture to the wall.

"Our house is very childproof, we are really cautious about all this stuff — so it never really crossed our minds that something like this could happen," Shoff told CNN.

The Consumer Product Safety Commission estimates that a child dies every two weeks from a TV, piece of furniture or appliance falling on them. Ikea settled a lawsuit for $50 million after one of its dresser models killed three children under 2 years old. It's unclear exactly what dresser is shown in the Shoff's video.
