The White House has not confirmed that President Trump is golfing during a diplomatic crisis with North Korea.

BEDMINSTER, NJ — As the world braces for conflict in the wake of escalation of tensions between the United States and North Korea, Instagram user mikefaz1215 posted a picture of himself with President Trump Wednesday afternoon at the Trump National Golf Club.
The White House has been reluctant to respond to questions about the president's golf schedule, despite the fact that he has spent many weekends at his courses during his short presidency. Trump and members of his team are currently staying at the course in Bedminster for a 17-day stay — which the president insists is not a vacation — as the White House undergoes renovations. Fantastic day golfing with #45 @realdonaldtrump at Trump Bedminister today. We had an exciting match which came down to the 18th hole. I want to thank my good friend @newyorkrei for setting up such an awesome day. #Trump #POTUS #GOLF #USA #MAGA

Trump also said during the campaign that he would stop golfing if elected and never go on vacation because he would have too much work to do.
