WASHINGTON, DC — White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders will deliver a briefing for reporters Friday at 1:45 p.m. Eastern. You can watch a live stream of the event live on Patch.

Gary Cohn, one of President Trump's top economic advisers, on Friday criticized the president's response to the violence in Charlottesville, Virginia. Sanders will likely be asked to for the president's reaction to this criticism. The White House is also expected to address Hurricane Harvey, which threatens Texas and other states on the Gulf Coast. The press secretary may also discuss the administration's newly imposed sanctions on Venezuela.
