I have loved writing ever since I wrote my first story in elementary school. Even before then I was telling stories, however.
Previously, I have written as a freelancer for Patch and the Twin Cities Daily Planet. I also received a MetLife Journalists in Aging fellowship to write about Alzheimer's disease.
I graduated from Carleton College with a sociology/anthropology degree. I enjoy learning about cultures, people and life. I am excited to get to know all of you.
