Their sketches blend sharp writing, electric timing, and infectious energy poking fun at society, pop culture, and the everyday tropes we all know too well. Showcasing their ability to entertain while making you think and reminisce. If In Living Color had a Millennial baby, CPS should’ve been called immediately, cuz these kids be wildn’.

Celebrate the holiday season with a cup of cheer and a dash of comedy! Baltimore's all women sketch comedy troupe, Forevermore, is hosting the ultimate ha-ha-holiday sketch comedy show with a couple of the DMV's finest sketch comedy groups form D.C. for a TWO night sketch comedy spectacular!

DONATION COLLECTION: Audience members are encouraged to bring a spice, seasoning, or condiment donation to the performance which will be given to the Maryland Food Bank. 

WHY? This time of year non-perishable donations pour into shelters and food banks, while seasonings for the donated foods are often overlooked. Forevermore would like put the seasoning back into this holiday season for those in need by providing a spicy donation. With your help, we can bring a little sugar and spice to everyone, both naughty and nice! Recommended items: salt, pepper, hot sauce, cinnamon, chili powder, cumin, dried herb seasonings, salad dressings... etc.

DC Improv Comedy Club

Tuesdays, January 13 - 20th&nbsp;(online), meeting at 7:30 p.m. each week. Each session is 90-120 minutes. This is an online class, conducted through Zoom meetings. Participants must have a reliable Internet connection and a computer, phone or device with a web camera and microphone.
This engaging workshop is designed to help you master the art of incorporating humor into your content, whether you're editing a comedy sketch, stand-up set or looking for ways to add comedy elements into your storytelling. We'll explore the anatomy of a good joke, tricks of the trade, and delve into various comedic styles to suit different genres. Discover the secrets of creating a lighthearted atmosphere, captivating your audience, and transforming your writing from mundane to memorable with humor.
Your instructor: Nikki Frias has contributed to Pop Sugar, Forbes, The Daily Beast, and Boardroom. She is an author, writing coach and teacher specializing in helping people find their form of funny. Her book is titled “Does this Divorce Make Me Look Fat?” and she currently teaches comedy writing at The Writer’s Center, and improv at the Washington Improv Theatre. Her second book "Damn, you still single?" is expected to hit shelves later this year.

Ready to level up your comedy game? Our Level 2 Sketch Comedy Writing course is your launchpad to building a killer portfolio of original sketches. Building on the foundational skills from Introduction to Sketch Comedy, this dynamic course dives deep into the anatomy of a hilarious sketch, guiding you through proven techniques for crafting comedic gold. But it's not just theory – you'll be actively workshopping your material in lively read-throughs, receiving invaluable feedback that sharpens your comedic voice. Explore popular sketch formats like Game Show, Commercial Parody, Town Hall, Talk Show, and beyond, as you hone your craft with bi-weekly writing assignments designed to get your best ideas on the page.
Your instructors for the course come from Bad Medicine, DC's premier sketch comedy troupe. Trained by the Upright Citizens Brigade and Second City, Bad Medicine has performed at North American festivals like Montreal Sketchfest, NYC Sketchfest, Chicago Sketchfest, and Sketchfest Seattle. They also produce award-winning short comedy films, and a podcast about the craft of sketch comedy called Sketch Nerds.

Mondays, March 2 - April 6, starting at 8 p.m.
This is an online class, conducted through Zoom meetings. Participants must have a reliable Internet connection and a computer, phone or device with a web camera and microphone. Completion of Introduction to Sketch Comedy or sketch performance experience is a prerequisite to this course.

Ready to bring your funniest ideas to life? This beginner-friendly course will guide you through the fundamentals of sketch comedy. From brainstorming strong premises to crafting fully realized sketches. You'll learn the essential building blocks of a sketch, explore what makes comedy writing work, and participate in collaborative workshop sessions with read-throughs and feedback. By the end, you’ll walk away with a solid foundation in sketch writing and a few original pieces of your own. Your instructors are members of Bad Medicine, DC’s premier sketch comedy troupe. Trained by the Upright Citizens Brigade and Second City, Bad Medicine has performed at top North American festivals including SF Sketchfest, Toronto Sketch Comedy Festival, Austin Sketch Fest, and NYC Sketchfest. They also co-produce DC Sketchfest and create award-winning short comedy films. 
Wednesdays (online), March 4 – March 25, meeting at 8 p.m. each week. This is an online class, conducted through Zoom meetings. Participants must have a reliable Internet connection and a computer, phone or device with a web camera and microphone.
