Waterford Offers Heating Assistance As Temperatures Drop
With temperatures below freezing, qualified residents are eligible for heating assistance from the town of Waterford.

East Lyme and Lyme-Old Lyme School Districts have canceled all after school and evening events. East Lyme after school child care ends today at 5 p.m. Old Lyme implements a parking ban at 4 p.m. today.

The Science and Technology Magnet High School of Southeastern Connecticut will hold its second annual tag sale on January 25 and is in need of items to sell and auction. Items can be dropped off during school hours or on Jan. 4, 11, and 18.
T-shirts marking the official renaming of the Waterford High School Francis X. Sweeney Field House now scheduled for Saturday are on sale now. All proceeds will go to help pay for new plaques and signs.
