Christopher Dellutri, 32, of Chicago, is being charged by Alsip police following a car crash Jan. 12, that resulted in the death of Colleen Palermo, 37, of Oak Forest. Palermo died six days after the crash at Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn.
Two recently purchased apartment buildings near the Oak Forest Metra station are the first step in a larger plan by the city to revitalize the area around the station. The city council approved the purchase of the buildings Jan. 22.

A Tinley Park man faces several charges, including drunken driving, after crashing his car into a tree in the 15900 block of Ashford Court. The man told police that a female acquaintance was driving at the time of the crash, but fled the scene.

A Matteson man faces several charges, including drunken driving, after crashing his car on Oak Park Avenue and calling his mother for a ride home, police said.
