Winter Farmers Market Day to be Held on April 7
The popular local Farmers Market will hold indoor hours at Walpole's VFW Hall on Sunday, April 7. The outdoor season begins June 14.

I have lived in four states but always felt "home" in Massachusetts. Both my parents grew up in Massachusetts and I went to high school in Millis, a nearby town of Foxborough. I knew at the end of my senior year at Millis High School that I wanted to be a journalist because I love to write. Four years later, I graduated from Keene State College in Keene, N.H. with a B.A. in Journalism and immediately began my professional career. For three years I served as an editor for three newspapers in Connecticut, all under the operation of one company. I was a local news editor for a small daily newspaper, The Bristol Press and the sports editor for a larger daily newspaper, The Middletown Press. I also served as managing editor for a weekly newspaper, The West Hartford News. In college, I served as both a sports reporter and sports editor for my school's newspaper, The Equinox.
I am passionate about sports both on the professional and local levels. I am a die-hard fan of Boston sports (Patriots, Red Sox, Bruins and Celtics) and enjoy covering teams at the high school level. I also enjoy learning and writing about the many aspects that make up a community. In my spare time, I enjoy traveling, spending time in Boston, relaxing with family and enjoying life.
Your Beliefs
At Patch, we promise always to report the facts as objectively as possible and otherwise adhere to the principles of good journalism. However, we also acknowledge that true impartiality is impossible because human beings have beliefs. So in the spirit of simple honesty, our policy is to encourage our editors to reveal their beliefs to the extent they feel comfortable. This disclosure is not a license for you to inject your beliefs into stories or to dictate coverage according to them. In fact, the intent is the opposite: we hope that the knowledge that your beliefs are on the record will cause you to be ever mindful to write, report and edit in a fair, balanced way. And if you ever see evidence that we failed in this mission, please let us know.
Politics
I am a registered Independent and do not pay too much attention to what party the candidate is associated with, but rather the values and issues the candidate stands for. I keep an open mind, trying to understand both sides of an issue.
Religion
I found religion in christianity growing up and have continued to hold many of those values and beliefs in my life today.
