Before joining the Patch team, Katie previously worked at MTV News, Fox 5 New York, and News 12 New Jersey. She is a graduate of Marymount Manhattan College in New York City.
When she's not reporting, Katie enjoys listening to punk rock, checking out the local art scene, and trying new recipes. She's a big Broadway nerd (her favorite show is Dear Evan Hansen) and book worm (Harry Potter is her go-to re-read).
