Shortly after her internship, she joined the Roseville Press Tribune newspaper as a reporter, where she covered city, business and feature stories for Roseville and Granite Bay. From there, Lauren moved to the Roseville Press-Tribune’s sister paper, The Placer Herald, where she served as the associate editor for the Rocklin weekly paper. At The Placer Herald, Lauren covered education news, features on people in the community, business profiles and more.
When she’s not writing for Patch, she’s in her kitchen cooking and baking & playing with her baby girl. She also loves to take weekend getaways with her husband exploring California.
