Mathea Morais is the author of the children’s book: <i>I’m Lucy: A Day in the Life of a Young Bonobo</i> that features an afterword by renowned primatologist Jane Goodall. Mathea also runs the Martha’s Vineyard Public Charter School’s High School Writing Lab and has taught creative writing for more than 10 years on Martha’s Vineyard and in Boston. Mathea&#39;s freelance work has been published in online and print magazines such as Trace Magazine and Inshop.com. She has a BA in English from New York University. Mathea lives in Chilmark with her three daughters and husband, painter Chioke R. Morais.
