A Shoreham Wading River student gets to have a song recorded locally by Long Island's own Kevin Wood.

Monica Gleberman began writing in 2000. She has been published on CNN and in the Suffolk Times, Examiner, The Daily Collegian, Demand Studios, Times Beacon Record, CT Post, and The Tattoo. She holds a Master of Science in journalism and communications from Quinnipiac University and a Bachelor of Science in journalism and English from the University of Massachusetts in Amherst.
