Lakewood Proclaims January 18 As Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr Day
Dr. King is widely regarded as America’s leading advocate of nonviolence and one of the greatest nonviolent leaders in world history.

The meeting will be held in the evening.
Dr. King is the only non-president to have a national holiday dedicated in his honor.
Required is an interest in serving your community; desired is some background or experience in the function of the board or commission.
