I'm Richard Kaufman, a local Patch editor for Connecticut, covering Greenwich, Stamford, Darien and Guilford.
Writing has always been a passion of mine, going back to when I was in elementary school.
I graduated from Springfield College (the real birthplace of basketball) with a degree in sports journalism and communications. Prior to joining Patch in 2021, I covered sports at the Ridgefield Press for two years and later worked at the Greenwich Sentinel for over four years, covering town happenings and getting acquainted with all that Fairfield County has to offer.
