Does anyone in your family work in politics or government?
No

Previous public office, appointive or elective:
Board of Selectmen - 3 consecutive terms 2019-2025

Why are you seeking this office?
I have loved the work on this Board and I feel honored to represent our residents.

The single most pressing issue facing my constituents is ____, and this is what I intend to do about it:
The single most pressing need in town would be to maintain our infrastructure- to make sure our residents have their flooding issues addressed, work on creating pedestrian access through expanded sidewalks, and making sure our town parks are safe places to enjoy.

What are the major differences between you and the other candidates seeking this post?
I’m the longest serving member on this Board. I take the time to listen to our residents, despite party affiliation, to make sure everyone feels heard and represented. I’m proud of my work on the Board and through my representation on the Hindley, Holmes and Royle Building Committee

What other issues do you intend to address during your campaign?
During my tenure I’ll work to address other safety issues that face our residents, including advocating for safe streets for both pedestrians and those on wheels.

What accomplishments in your past would you cite as evidence you can handle this job?
I have lived in town over 23 years. In addition to my current service as a member of the Board of Selectmen, I have served on the RTM. I am a past cochair at both the Hindley and High School PTO’s, and among my many volunteer positions in town I have also served as the President of the Junior League of Stamford-Norwalk.
Over time, I have learned that communication is the key to success. I strive to be available to speak with every resident about any concern they may have.

What is the best advice anyone ever gave you?
If you see something you want to change, what are you going to do about it?What are you personally going to do to make that change/goal happen?

Is there anything else you would like voters to know about yourself and your positions?
This role is an honor and a privilege for me. I take the time to be thoughtful and make sure that we are making the right decisions for our residents, balancing our wants and needs with fiscal responsibility
