When restaurateur and TV personality Guy Fieri visits Virginia, it's likely his trip will include a stop at Dot’s Back Inn in Richmond, according to a new report listing the Mayor of Flavortown's favorite restaurants in every state.

Famed for hosting the renowned series "Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives," plus a variety of other hit Food Network shows, Fieri is arguably one of the world’s most recognizable food personalities, writes Lovefood.com.

To determine Fieri's favorite restaurants in every state, Lovefood considered eateries included in "Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives," as well as user reviews, awards and accolades, and the first-hand experience of our team.

The result was a list of restaurants ranging from hole-in-the-wall joints to century-old hotspots.

Dot’s Back Inn, Richmond

Lovefood writes: "Set up in 1990, Dot’s Back Inn is a homey spot praised for its classic diner-style dishes and warm hospitality. The joint has featured on Fieri’s hit show twice – and nowadays, visitors travel from all over to get a taste of its mouthwatering dishes. Popular items include black bean corn cakes, tuna melts and giant burgers, which come served with a choice of fries, chips or spicy potato salad.
