Food writers at Lovefood curated a list of the most charming restaurants in each state, from restaurants housed within stunning historic buildings to spots offering breathtaking views.

The list features eateries perfect for many occasions, including date night, family dinners or spots to grab a relaxing meal for one.

Located in Eggleston along the New River, The Palisades is housed in what used to be Pyne’s General Store and seeks to recapture the city's former charm and spirit, according to the eatery's website.

The writers at Lovefood mentioned the restaurant's period features, including hardwood floors, pressed tin ceilings and exposed brick walls.

"It’s still a bustling location today, serving as a community hub with a seasonal menu of pizza and modern American food," Lovefood wrote. "A full calendar of events – including regular live music nights – adds to the exciting, welcoming atmosphere.

Manor Hill Tavern is located at 3733 Old Columbia Pike and is open seven days a week for lunch and dinner, with brunch on Saturday and Sunday. Check out the restaurant's menu online.
