1 Killed, 1 Seriously Injured In Alexandria Collision

ALEXANDRIA, VA — One person was killed and another seriously injured in a two-vehicle collision in Alexandria Saturday morning, police said.

The Alexandria Police Department was called to the crash at about 8 a.m. at King and South Taylor streets. Both drivers involved in the collision were taken to a local hospital and one driver, a man, later died from injuries sustained in the crash, according to a news release from the police department.

The other driver, a man, remains hospitalized with serious injuries, according to a news release.

Police are looking for anyone who witnessed the collision or any dash camera footage that may aid authorities in their investigation to call crash investigator Kolodzinski at 703-859-4447.
