Annandale Man Killed, 2 Injured In Crash On North Bethesda Road
A 22-year-old Annandale man died after the car he was driving collided with a guardrail early Saturday morning in North Bethesda, Maryland.

BETHESDA, MD — A 22-year-old Annandale man died after the vehicle he was driving crashed into a guardrail early Saturday morning in North Bethesda, Maryland, according to Montgomery County Police.
Around 5:49 a.m., Montgomery County Fire & Rescue personnel responded for the report of a single-vehicle collision that occurred in the area of Veirs Mill Road and Twinbrook Parkway.
Investigators determined that a black 2012 Honda Civic Hatchback was traveling eastbound on Veirs Mill Road and for some unknown reason left the roadway and struck a guardrail.

The driver of the Civic, identified as 22-year-old Carlos Alexis Yanez Marquez of Annandale, was taken to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead, according to police. Two passengers in the vehicle were also taken to the hospital to be treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
