I-495 Shooter's Car Identified; VA State Police Release Photo
Virginia State Police released a photo of the car driven by the man they say shot at another vehicle last Thursday on I-495 in Fairfax.
ANNANDALE, VA — Virginia State Police are asking the public's help in locating the suspect vehicle involved in last Thursday's shooting on on I-495 in Fairfax County, according to a release.
On Tuesday, VSP released a photo of a blue, two-door 2010 Honda Civic with Virginia license plates "TWW 9398" that investigators identified as the vehicle driven by the suspect wanted in the case.
VSP were notified around 4:50 a.m., on Thursday, by a person who said that they were shot at by the driver of the blue Honda Civic, according to the release. At the time, both vehicles were traveling on I-495 in Fairfax County near the exit for Route 236/Little River Turnpike East.

Once both drivers had pulled off onto the ramp for Exit 52B, the shooting suspect got out of his vehicle and fired multiple shots at the victim, according to police. The man police say fired the shots then got back into his vehicle and drove off. The victim was not injured, according to police. Neither the victim nor their vehicle was hit by the gunshots.
