I-495 Shooting Incident Under Investigation By Virginia State Police
Police are investigating the report of a man firing a gun at another driver traveling on I-495 in Fairfax County early Thursday morning.

ANNANDALE, VA — A driver told Virginia State Police that another driver traveling north on I-495 Thursday morning shot at him from another vehicle as they were approaching the exit for southbound Braddock Road in Fairfax County, according to a police release.
Once both drivers had pulled off onto the ramp for Exit 52B, the shooting suspect got out of his vehicle and fired multiple shots at the victim, according to police. The man police say fired the shots then got back into his vehicle and drove off. The victim was not injured, according to police.
Troopers responded around 4:50 a.m. to the scene of the incident to begin their preliminary investigation.
